Mavroudi is one of the Greek varieties that piqued our interest and we chose for the composition of our vineyard. The first two harvests of 2015 and 2017 showed the dynamics of the variety and our region and this was seen, as the bottles were sold very quickly (a few remaining bottles of 2017). The 2017 harvest was recently awarded at the Thessaloniki Competition with a Silver Medal and was selected for Aegean's business class by Mr. Konstantinos Lazarakis.
Dark garnet color with crimson hues. Expressive and complex aromas of prunes, sour cherries and dried raisin, along with notes of smoke, vanilla and dark chocolate. Dense and elegant with soft tannins and long herbaceous aftertaste.
Aged for 6 months in oak barrels.
